Still starting out with my N82, so all I have is Snakes and N-Gage Asphalt 3. I enjoy Asphalt 3 and am looking for other racing games.
Global Race sounds good. The link is for the E90 download; this works on the N82 as well? Can you play it in both portrait and landscape mode?

haven't tried it yet, the one i downloaded was from globalrace.net but i had trouble connecting to the site yesterday,so i put the e90 link for the moment. Forgot to fix that.

But i know the e90 version works for the n95, so it should be fine with the n82. Yup, the game works in landscape mode as well..

Have you tried ngage's asphalt full version. It looks great also.

on the home screen, press the right dpad 3 times, then press the left soft key. (you are now in options)

press down 2 times on your dpad to go to language, then hit ok or left/right dpad to change the language. let me know if this helps.

I had the same problem as pato too, so I did exactly as you said to change language to English..but it didn't work
This is what I did:
I read the word 'KAMNAHNR'(smthing like this) and then pressed 3 times the dpad--> BbI6opBi, and then press down 2 times, but it didn't change the language=( can you help me change it? that would be great!

for the meantime, after pressing down 2 times, try pressing --> until the language changes to english. Based on your comment (on the steps you did), you might've forgotten to do that :)

The tipp with chaning the language didn't work, I only have two options there.
I downloaded the .jar file, but I think I'll also need the .jad?

duuuude! if you like gaming on your phone you HAVE to download an app called mobipad . it let's u control your n82 with a wii remote via bluetoth, what I do is put my N82 on the tv, and play gamboyy hahaha awsome

ps. i configured the buttons to hold the emote sideways with both hands.

i have vbagx,vsun,vboy i like to play mario 2 and 3 i downloaded 800 roms. search google for 800 roms and pc emulator. n-gage 2.0 all games to date included the one. its not as good as its made out. search google for all binpda ngage 2.0 games and download torrent. alternativly you can download the games from certain forums without joining (guest).
j2me or midlets i cant stand so its only ever apps i install. j2me @ matias search google for the games this is a blog not a warez site good luck mate.

i hAVE tombraider underworld and the part , then crash bandicoot nitro cart, Fifa 09, Assasin's creed HD, prince of persia HD, Space impact 3D, Spore, Asphalt 4 HD, Pandemonium. all my games are 3d and most are ngage 2 but im playing it wihous he ngage application. pure sisx files. my n82 is like a playstation with all the cool graphics. wow mobile gaming is really advancing. if you like the games, here's the site where you can dwnload all of them. really great graphics and high definiion, plus best of all, full versions. this 2 sites are the best when it comes to any type of game, might i be jar, sis, sisx or even emulators. all you need will be found. www.mobile9.com and www.dotsis.com

Well i just downloaded the N-gage full version (recently bought my phone had the N-gage preview or w/e was called) but now i can't find nor play the FIFA and Asphalt games that came with the phone when i bought it, and after checking out the N-gage menus and clicking on extra games on the showroom menu everytime i go to such menu the only thing i see is a small icon in the middle of the screen where all the games and some options were, can't move back to the other menus using the scroll, have to use the "home" option. I can use the options key but can't figure out how to fix this. Already uninstalled and reinstalled N-gage and it fixed it, but when i went to showroom and again clicked on extra games the same happened. I will appreciate any ideas on how to fix this.

Yes i have the newest firmware, installed before getting N-Gage, still have the same problem. Not big deal though i can still download games from the N-gage website either with my PC and with my phone, just wonder what the problem would be.

Finally decided to delete N-gage from my phone, will install it later on as i keep learning more and more about my N82. So what do you guys think about gaming with the N82, do you think it is worth to have N-Gage (some ppl say you can have free N-gage games and some others you can play those without the "actual" N-gage application being installed)? Or is it better to stay with another kind of games? Just downloaded S-tris and i like it a lot!

You'll need the n-gage app to access the ngage arena for multiplayer games such as Reset Generation (awesome game), and posting high scores, if you feel like it.

Something is wrong. I reinstalled N-Gage, already had 2 demos installed but they wont appear in the N-Gage game list so i can't play them. Also downloaded 2 games from the website you posted but they wont appear in the N-Gage game list and i can't find any other way to play them. ANy help or suggestions? Sorry for making so many questions but i'm too new at this lol.

Ohh sorry what a shame lol. I found a new folder named Games with the game i downloaded there. Still can't see the demos previously installed though. Deleted them and will reinstall N-Gage again then download those again to see what happens. Diferent subject but, when trying to download some games from my mobile i downloaded one but it was zipped, i tried to cancel the download and delete the file but it seems like it took space from my phones memory anyway, don't know to fix this. perhaps i will do a Restoration form my previous back up.

If you are talking about the Asphalt and Fifa (07 i think) that came built in when you bought you're N82, you will really not be able to play them when you install the full n-gage app.

other games (non-ngage) you install will usually be accessed on the Applications Folder

for zipped downloads, don't cancel it. your n82 will be able to read and extract the zipped files.

OMG too late haha! Already canceled a zip and now i'm having some weird issues, since i canceled that download my phone seems to be missing some 3-5 Mb, can't find the file occupying that space. I guess since i'm new i just played with it too much lol. Thinking about making a return to factory settings thingy. Have a few questions posted them in the HARD RESET blog.

Mike or Aaron, or hugo, do you guys know if i do a factory settings reset form the menu>tools>settings>general>factory settings option, the phone keps all applications, folders, nokia maps application, games and such that came when it was new? or it just keeps the basic software like OS, messaging, clock etc? Also is it the same to do a factory settings restore form the phone's menu than from the codes mentioned above? And the last thing is: what's the diference from a HARD RESET from a FACTORY SETTINGS RESET?

Restore factory settings, as you rightly mentioned, resets your profiles, clock formats, standby settings, etc.

Hard reset on the other hand wipes out your memory, and does a fresh installation of the os. But you will lose the extra apps, themes, tones, etc that came with your phone when you bought it (such as panoman, etc).

Hi Aaron, hey i'm having a problem installing games in .jar, i installed opera mini with no problem but can't install any jar game. The phone starts insttaling then it starts and says "unable to install". .sis format is not a problem so far. DO you know how can i fix this? i'm sure a lot of ppl has the same problem.

Hi Aaron nvm my previous post, it seems is not my phone nor a real problem with .jar files because i could install some games. I downloaded a bunch of games from www.nokiasymbianthemes.com and it seems some are not working properly, some will install quickly and no problem, some will not install at all or N-Gage will say corrupted file, some others will install but when i click on the icon to play it nothing happens like age of the empires III. I guess the problem are the games.
Still i recomend that website for ppl looking for games and applications they have a good bunch.

Well i think i found out, the problem are not the java games, but the N-Gage games. Seems like you need to somehow hack or install some bypass or something like that to make this free n-Gages games to work on your unhacked N82, but i don't know how to do this.
