i didnt like Shozu that much. i use the facebook app, only bad thing is that i cant upload pics. for flickr and ovi i use the builtin app

I use Shozu, but there are somethings lacking such as tagging photos. I can't do this either on the mobile facebook nor on shozu... I still require a PC to tag my photos. I know they have a facebook app for the iPhone... is there one for Facebook? I can't upload videos to Facebook either... which is a bother... eventhough I can do it through Youtube...

In addition, Shozu frequently crashes on me... especially initially when I started the app and tried to add details to the pictures.

yep, been using this for the best part of a year now. It works well - 99% of the time.
I used it while travelling around SE Asia and it was a Godsend when it came to updating my blog etc.
Be warned though, once in a blue moon it fails randomly and definitively. The only answer (and I've had to do this about five times in the last seven months) is an uninstall and a reinstall - both requiring access to a PC. Tricky when you're in the middle of nowhere or on holiday in decidedly non-tech mode...

another thing about shozu is that it randomly accesses the net via wifi (or gprs) without you knowing?! check your logs and you will see that. i have given feedback to shozu and they are unable to resolve this as yet.

Sounds like you've got ShoZu set to run in the background. When this is on ShoZu will connect from time to time to check for updates to feeds, or new sites. You can set the frequency of this in Options > Go To > Settings > Feeds > Download Times, or turn off background running in Options > Go To > Settings > Advanced, (Make sure to turn "Start Automatically" as well).

unfortunately, i did not set shozu to run in the background. and i have dropped a line to shozu support. we have corresponded, but i have not had a fix to date.

With Shozu u can also write posts for your Wordpress or Blogger Blog directly from your phone!

There is a Facebook application called "MMS Photos". It gives a number that you can MMS photos to your profile but you almost always have to log into facebook to allow it to be added to your wall.

Shozu may be a better deal?

Ok, I just downloaded and set up my facebook with shozu. One question. On your screenshot I see My Status and Friend Status, but on my phone, it only shows the option of my status, not friends status. And I have checked for updates on my phone, and actually when I was setting up my facebook through shozu, one of the 4 steps was my status, not friends status. Did I do something wrong or miss something?

Be aware Shozu charges for this app now, it's 6.99 which isn't a big chunk of change, but if you had the free app version on your nokia previously and needed to reinstall it (like I did) you'll have to pay.

Hello !
Yesterday i tried to upload a picture on facebook with Shozu and i receiveid an error ' full hard drive ' ...

I remove shozu and .. not possible to find it now, even if i want to pay ..

Anyway i try to go on google maps and i receive the same error ....
It was just a problem of full phone memory ....

The problem : I removed Shozu and i don't know where it's possible to download it again
I didn't find this app on OVI ( i'm ready to pay )

Any idea ?

they have a website. If im not mistaken, it's shozu.com. Try to google it.

I try it but no.
On the shozu website when i want to download the apps i'm directly to the Ovi Store
And there is no Shozu app for N82 on the ovi store ....

I don't know what i have to do ..
If somebody can help

Maybe you have read about it already. I tried the direct link given there and I received the error: "This item is not available for your country."

OVI Store... *sigh*

BTW, try using your phone to browse the ovi store. I was able to access Shozu's ovi store page but I did not try to download. I used opera mini on my n82, and did the following:

- visit m.shozu.com
- click "Get Started Now!"
- click "I want the application for my N82"

Now you should be on Shozu's page on Ovi Store.

Hope you'll be able to download from there.
